Lucas Pires de Freitas

Lucas Pires de Freitas is an associate with Pan-American Strategic Advisors. Prior to joining PASA, Lucas worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he supported policy-making on foreign policy, immigration, and small business affairs. Lucas also worked for the State government of São Paulo, where he worked on issues of public safety, industrial affairs, urban affairs, and government regulation. He also supported the Council of the Americas’ Trade Advisory Group to provide insights for companies across Latin America on how the U.S. business climate could change due to changes in administration.

He received his Master's in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University and his B.A. in Political Science from Nova Southeastern University. As a Brazilian-born Latin Americanist, Lucas's primary region of expertise is the Southern Cone.
